OPEN CALL 💥 Roopa is hosting a two-day intensive workshop offering an introduction to visual storytelling methods and practices. In this workshop you will learn: •⁠ ⁠to research and plan your own visual story •⁠ ⁠a background on digital visual storytelling •⁠ ⁠to write about your ideas, motivations, projects and images •⁠ ⁠to develop and hone your personal visual voice/style •⁠ ⁠to give and receive thoughtful, careful critique The workshop will also feature a session with art writer Pramodha Weerasekera, who will guide participants in expressing ideas through writing, as well as a spotlight session with photographer Ofoe Amegavie, who will share how he navigates his extensive visual practice. 📗 Investment: 8,000 LKR (one scholarship position available) ⏰ Deadline: 14th August 2026 The workshop will be conducted primarily in English, translations can be accommodated with prior notice.
