A mixed-media exploration of identity, belonging, and self-expression What if identity isn’t something we simply have, but something we continually construct? In this experimental mixed-media workshop, we’ll explore the many fragments that come together to form a sense of self — from people, places and memories to culture, relationships, values, experiences and influences — and how our sense of identity is shaped by the spaces we inhabit and the people around us. 🎨 Using collage, participants will build and rework a visual representation of themselves, experimenting with imagery, colour, texture, text and layering. Rather than searching for one definitive answer to the question of who we are, the workshop invites you to get curious about how a sense of self is constructed — and what happens when we give ourselves permission to change the picture. ✂️🖼️
