A Mindful Textile Gathering at Living Room An afternoon of fabric, stories & a little mindfulness. When was the last time you made something with your hands, just for the fun of it? A needle, some thread, a pile of beautiful leftover fabrics. That's pretty much all we need. We'll get our hands into some colourful Sri Lankan handloom fabrics, learn a few simple stitches, and turn little pieces of fabric into our own textile artwork. No sewing skills needed. Somewhere between choosing colours, stitching things together, and chatting about the clothes we wear, we might discover that making something slowly feels pretty good. All materials included. Curious beginners very welcome.
