A StorySLAM is a live storytelling competition, similar to a poetry slam. Storytellers (slammers) have 5 minutes each to tell a story based on a chosen theme. Notes are not allowed - stories must be told and not read. After the storyteller is done, judges, chosen from the audience, vote on the performance.
