An Exhibition By Ishara Madushanka In an age increasingly shaped by technology and virtual experiences, Ishara reflects on our gradually changing relationship with the natural world. What if, one day, nature becomes something we remember rather than experience? Through female figures, animals and hidden landscapes, he explores the evolving connection between humanity and nature. Working on copper, a material associated with technological advancement, he brings organic forms and natural imagery into conversation with the industrial and the digital. His paintings consider nature as an inseparable part of our identity, memories and emotions, inviting us to reflect on what we stand to lose as our world becomes increasingly digital. Perhaps nature will one day become a memory, but its presence will always remain within us.
