Join a tour of our current Akurugraphy exhibition at the Bawa Space: Akurugraphy is an exhibition on letterforms. Examining the history, development, and application of Sinhala, Tamil, and Latin typography in Sri Lanka, the exhibition challenges the idea that global digital infrastructure is ever truly neutral. Led by Mooniak co-founder and exhibition co-curator Pathum Egodawatta, the tours offer a behind-the-scenes look into the world of typography. ‘Akurugraphy’ is supported by generous grants from Kohler India, the Initiating Partner for the Geoffrey Bawa Trust’s exhibitions programme, and Sampath Bank Private Banking for the exhibition’s public programme.
