The experience continues at Niluka’s home, where you will make your own incense sticks and see the process of extracting cinnamon oil, leaving with their handmade cinnamon as a reminder of the land and its people. This experience is hosted by Niluka Dilrukshi Gunasekara from Andugoda, a mother of 3 and incense maker, alongside her husband Sanath Padukkage, whose family has long worked in a traditional cinnamon hut crafting cinnamon for cooking, oils, and incense.
